Use the following procedure to add a Patron Account Predefined Note:
1. From the Financial Transactions section of the Setup menu, select Accounting > FT Notes > Pre-defined Notes. The Patron Account Pre-Defined Notes page is displayed.
2. In the List of Pre-Defined Notes grid, click Add.
3. Enter information in the following fields:
• Type: Select a Note Type for the Predefined Note:
• Name: Enter a name for the Predefined Note.
• Note: Enter the Predefined Note text. This is the text that will appear for a user when adding the predefined note to a patron account. Once the user adds the predefined note to the patron’s account, the note text can be edited, if necessary.
4. To designate the predefined note as an alert, check the Alert check box.
5. Click Save. The Patron account pre-defined note successfully added message is displayed.
