Use the following procedure to add a preference:
1. From the Patron menu, select Search for Patron and perform a search for the patron for whom you want to view a patron’s preferences.
2. From the Patron List grid, click a row to select a patron.
3. Select the Preferences tab. The List of Patron Preferences grid displays preferences associated with the patron.
4. From the List of Patron Preferences grid, click Add New Preference.
5. Enter the preference information. For information about each field, refer to the List of Patron Preferences Grid Overview section. The following fields are available:
• Preference Name
• Type
• Effective Date - Use the term drop-down menu to help set dates, if necessary. However, preference dates are not linked to a term.
• Facility
• Rank
6. Click Save. The Preference will be added to the List of Patron Preferences Grid.
