Work order priorities are used to determine the priority a work order can be given. For example, an urgent priority means that the work order must be completed quickly. Work order priorities are used in the Work Orders option. Use the following procedure to add a new work order priority:
1. Select Work Order Priorities from the Maintenance section of the Setup menu. The Work Order Priorities page is displayed.
2. Click Add.
3. Enter information in the fields provided.
• *Display Name: Enter the name that will display in the Priority drop-down list in the Work Orders option (for example High).
• *Description: Enter a description of the work order priority (for example, High Priority).
• *Active: Select Yes or No from the drop-down list to specify whether the work order priority is active.
• *Priority: Rank the importance of the new work order priority against the existing priorities.
• *Display Order: Select the order that the new work order priority will be displayed in the Priority drop-down list in the Work Orders option.
4. Click Save. The Item successfully added message is displayed.
