The following table lists information about the columns and options that appear in the Attributes grid on the Attributes Setup page:

Description |
Name |
The name of the Attribute. Each Attribute name must be unique. |
Type |
The Attribute’s data type determines what type of information is associated with the Attribute. The following data types are available: •Date: A Date-type Attribute is used to store a date (such as a Patron application date). •Integer: An Integer-type Attribute is used to enter whole numbers. Values may include negative whole numbers. •Numeric: A Numeric-type Attribute can be used to store numeric values with a decimal point. Values may include negative numbers. •String: A String-type attribte is used to store text and/or numbers such as an address or a patron’s room assignment choice. •Yes/No: A Yes/No-type Attribute allows only a “Yes” or “No” value for the Attribute. |
Usage |
Indicates the area(s) of ResCenter where the Attribute can be used. Either Patron or Facility (or both). |
Core |
Indicates if the Attribute is avialable in ResCenter by default. (This column is not sortable). |
ID |
Unique ID number automatically assigned to an Attribute when created. |
Show |
If checked, the Attribute will be available in the Patron and Facilities modules, Patron Advanced Find, and Facility Advanced Find. (This column is not sortable). |

Click Search… to enter a search value to filter the Attributes grid. |
