Use the Check In/Out Time Selection page (accessed via Setup > Web > Check In/Out Time Selection) to create and edit Check In and Check Out Time Selection definitions for patrons. A Check In/Out Time Selection definition allows an institution to define windows of time that patrons can Check In to or Out of a facility. Patron Check In/Out times are staggered to prevent too many patrons trying to Check In or Out at once.
For patrons using the GET mobile app, the Check In/Out Time Selection process allows viewing available times to Check In to or Check Out of a defined facility for the beginning or end of a defined Term. For a Patron to have access to select a time, the patron must have a housing assignment contract for the defined Term and one of the defined Facilities.
Time access is defined by staggered time intervals and a set number of patrons allowed for each interval.
ResCenter Users can view a Patron’s Requested Check In Date/Time or Requested Check Out Date/Time by viewing the Patron’s housing assignment Contract in Edit mode.
Note: For ResCenter users to have access to the Check In/Out Time Selection page, they must have access to the Administration.Term User Roles Permission. Refer to the Security Setup section for information about configuring User Roles.
GET Mobile App Housing Dashboard
In the Housing Dashboard section of the GET mobile app, patrons will see a list of available Terms. After selecting a Term and the Rooms tab, patrons will see a time selection function to pick a Check In or Check Out time. After selecting a time, the patron is returned to the Term Landing Page. Patrons can view their selected Check In Time or Check Out Time under the Rooms tab.
