After selecting a facility, the facility’s general information is displayed. From this view, users can edit the main settings for a facility and view or adjust the core attributes for a facility.
Use the following procedure to edit a facility’s general information:
1. From the Facilities section of the Facilities menu, select Manage Facilities.
2. From the Facility Tree, click on a facility to select the facility to view. If necessary, expand the tree by clicking on the expand icon for the desired parent facility.
3. Click Edit.
4. Enter or edit information for the following fields:
• Facility Name: The facility’s name.
• Facility ID: The facility’s ID.
• Max Legal Occupancy: For lower level facilities (such as rooms), this value indicates the total number of spaces available.
• Facility Type: This value indicates the facility type associated with the facility’s asset type. When a facility is defined, the user must select an asset type for the facility. Asset Types and Facility Types are defined in ResCenter’s Setup module. This field is read-only.

For example: If a room’s Assignment Level is 2 patrons, but the room could fit 3 patrons, enter 1 for the Overflow Limit.
5. Click Save. The Facility successfully updated message is displayed.
