• A resident inspection will be processed for an Express Check-Out after a staff inspection is completed if the following requirements are true:
o There is an assignment for the inspected facility in an Active, Completed, or Terminated state with its Move Out Date on or before the inspection's Effective Date.
o The assignment is for a Resident with the "Express Check-Out" attribute set to "Yes" at the Resident's Move Out Date and through the staff inspection's Effective Date. In other words, if the staff inspection is for a day later than a move-out date, the attribute still must be set to "Yes" at that date. This prevents an unnecessary Express Check-Out Resident inspection to be triggered later.
o There is a Room Inspection Definition setting for the inspected facility (or its ancestor) which is valid at the Move Out Date and requires a resident inspection on move out.
o There is no completed move out resident inspection for the assignment facility.
• If a resident inspection is to be processed, the system will automatically generate the resident inspection with the status "Completed," current Inspection Date, and Staff Note "Express check-out". It will be based on the staff inspection just completed and its (top) Common level inspections.
• If a staff inspection is not planned to occur soon enough to catch up with the resident Express Check-Out Inspection processing, Staff can identify these cases and trigger the staff inspections sooner via the Express Check-Out tab on the Unscheduled Staff Inspections page. The tab shows a list of assignments for the patrons who moved out and who have the Express Check-Out attribute set up. A staff person can select the assignment and trigger an inspection.
• A resident inspection will not be automatically scheduled for the residents who have the Express Check-Out attribute set to "Yes" at the time of moving out (change room or not).
• If a staff inspection for a resident move out date (the Actual End Date) has been completed before the Express Check-Out attribute was set up (thus, a resident inspection will have not been triggered automatically by a staff inspection) ResCenter will not be able to schedule a resident move out inspection. In this case, a staff person must manually schedule and complete another staff inspection. ResCenter would then automatically generate and auto-complete an appropriate resident inspection with the Express Check-Out note. It is only important that such a staff inspection has an effective date within the Express Check-Out attribute date range.
