Holiday Schedules are used to define holiday dates. Charge schedules or proration schedules can be linked to a holiday schedule to factor in calculating patron charges. Holiday dates use one minute before midnight as a reference point and focus on the night. This is similar to the way a hotel uses nights to calculate charges for a hotel stay.

For example: A holiday defined for the date 3/22/2018 cannot affect proration or charge calculations for a contract period of 3/21/2018 at 10 AM to 3/22/2018 at 10 AM, because the contract period does not include the night of 3/22/2018

To access the Holidays page from the Setup menu, select Financial Transactions > Billing > Holidays.
