The following table lists information about the columns and options that appear in the List of Asset Types grid on the Asset Types page:

Description |
In Use |
Indicates with a check mark if the asset type is in use in one or more contracts. |
Name |
The name of the asset type, such as “Microwave” or “Housekeeping”. |
Asset Group |
The asset type’s asset group. An asset type can only belong to one asset group. |
Facility Type |
The facility type is only used when defining facility asset types in the Residence asset group. For more information about defining a facility, refer to the Facilities section. |
Stockroom |
Indicates with a check mark if the asset type has a stockroom defined. |
Option |
Description |

Click the First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, or Last Page arrows to navigate the pages of the grid. |
Add |
Click Add to add a new Asset Type. |
Show Search Criteria |
Click Show Search Criteria to display search options for filtering the List of Asset Types grid |
Alter Display |
Click Alter Display to define the columns, sort, and number of rows to display in the grid. Click Restore Default in the Change display on the grid window to restore the display to the default settings. |
Go to Charge / Proration Schedules |
Click Go to Charge/Proration Schedules to view a list of the charge and proration schedules assigned to the Asset Type. Refer to the Charge/Proration Schedules section for more information. |
Show Usage Summary |
Click the Show Usage Summary to view usage statistics for the asset type. |
Edit |
Click Edit to edit an existing Asset Type. |
Delete |
Click Delete to delete an existing Asset Type. |
