Use the following procedure to order the candidate list by application submitted date:
1. Select Automatic Assignment from the Assignment section of the Patron menu. The List of Assignment Batches grid is displayed in the Search tab on the Automatic Assignment page.
2. If necessary, search for an assignment batch.
3. Click Select on the desired assignment batch, and then select the Candidates tab.
4. Click the Order… button. The Candidate Sort Order for Currently Selected Assignment Batch window is displayed.
5. Select an option from the Select Application Definition drop-down list. Application definitions are displayed using a combination of Term and Application Type name.
Users may select only one application definition for sorting. Overall, it is possible to select a maximum of three items for sorting, including the application definition.
6. Once an application definition is selected, Application Submitted Date is displayed in the Sort By Attributes/Appl. Submitted Date section of the window. If the Application Submitted Date entry is selected, the application definition is displayed in the Select Application Definition field.
7. Click OK.
