The Post Deferred Transactions task posts any unposted transactions that are set to be posted on the day the task is run or on an earlier post date. Each transaction’s post date is defined when the transaction is created. 

The Post Deferred Transactions task does not require a list of patrons to process the transactions.  Additionally, the task will not process transactions if an associated patron has the Suspend All Processing setting enabled.

The Post Deferred Transactions task should be ran daily for institutions that regularly create financial transactions with a defined post date (instead of an immediate post date).
