Use the following procedure to add an assignment batch from the General tab of the Automatic Assignment page:
1. Select Automatic Assignment from the Assignment section of the Patron menu. The List of Assignment Batches grid is displayed in the Search tab on the Automatic Assignment page.
2. If necessary, search for an assignment batch.
3. Click Select on the desired assignment batch, and then select the Facilities tab.
4. Any available facilities (non-bold) are listed in the left section of the Select Facilities window. Drag and drop the desired facilities from the left section to the right section. When a facility is selected and in the right section of the window, it will be bold in the left section of the window.
5. If necessary, click the Load Balance function to configure the load balance for any facilities:
•In the Load Balance Amounts window, click Edit next to a facility.
•Enter the load balance amount, and click Update to save the value.
•When finished configuring the Load Balance for any facilities, click Close.
6. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the order in which facilities are processed when generating assignments. If necessary, remove any facilities by clicking the button.
