When making changes to a patron’s attribute values, it is important to set the start and end dates first. If no End date is entered, the attribute value will be in effect forever.

There are several ways to change the start and end dates:
• Type the new start date in the first Select Dates field or use the drop-down calendar to select the date. If needed, set the end date in the second field. If you leave the end date blank, the attribute value will be in effect forever.
• Use the Term field to select a term. Selecting a term sets the start and end dates equal to the term’s start and end dates.
• If you’re changing a value, double-click on the attribute value’s bar in the calendar and edit the dates as necessary.
• Scroll through the calendar dates by using the forward and back arrows.
• To set the calendar’s date range to begin on the current date, click Today.
