Add an Image to a Message Template

In addition to formatting text and tokens, an institution can add images to a Message Template. This functionality can be used to add an image for branding purposes, such as a banner for an email or letterhead for a printed document. When adding an image to a Message Template, the image’s size, alignment, border, and padding can be formatted, if necessary.

For image files to be available, the files must be stored in an Images folder located on the ResCenter server. The Images folder does not exist by default; an institution must create the folder in the following location:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ResCenter\UIAdminWeb\Images

Use the following procedure to add an image to a Message Template:

1.  When adding or editing a message template, click  Insert Image. The Insert Image dialog is displayed.

2.  Click All Properties....

3.  Click the  Image Manager next to the Choose Image field. A list of image files located in the Images folder will be displayed.

4.  Select an image and click Insert. The image’s relative path will be displayed in the Choose Image field.

5.  If necessary, use any additional formatting options to format the image.

Note: Some formatting options may not be displayed properly when using the message template to print Bulk Communication documents.

6.  Click OK.
