Use the following procedure to connect a user to an LDAP or Active Directory authentication configuration:

1.  Select Users from the Security section of the Setup menu. The List of Users grid is displayed.

2.  Search for the user by entering the full name of the person or entering at least one letter of the last name or first name and then clicking Search. The List of Users grid displays the search results.

3.  Click  View next to a user. The user information is displayed below the grid.

4.  In the general information section, click  Edit.

5.  From the Account Details tab, in the Directory ID field, enter the user’s LDAP user name. The Directory ID should be the same value the user enters to log in to ResCenter.

6.  Click  Update.
