A transaction which has not been posted yet can be voided. The transaction will remain in ResCenter and its Void Status will be marked as Error. Once voided, the transaction cannot be posted, and the Void Status cannot be removed.
When voiding a posted transaction, the transaction will undergo a reversal process. A reversed transaction will remain in ResCenter and affect any associated balances.

Use the following procedure to void a patron’s financial transaction:
1. From the FT menu, select Account Journal.
2. In the Accounts grid, select an account.
3. If necessary, filter the Transactions grid.
4. In the Transaction grid, next to a transaction, click Edit Transaction, and select Void (Reverse).
