The Dashboard page provides an overview of tasks available to the logged-in user. The functionality available depends on a user’s privileges. The Dashboard is accessed from the Analytics > Dashboard link on the Home Page or by clicking the Dashboard icon in the Navigation menu, .
Note: To have access to the Dashboard, a user must be assigned to a User Role with View access to the Show Home Page Stats permission.
The following ResCenter functions are available on the Dashboard:
In-process work orders that belong to the user display in the Open Work Orders grid as a total number and by status. The status types are defined from the Work Order Statuses page.
Room inspection totals for all existing staff room inspections for facilities are available to the logged-in user.
If a user only requires access to certain linked facilities, the security setting Room Maintenance.RoomInspection.AllLocations should be disabled for the role assigned to the user. If a user needs access to all facilities, then the security setting should be set to Allow Access. Refer to Users Overview and Roles Overview in the Security Setup section for more information.

Note: The number of days after the inspection's Term end date that completed room inspections will display on the Dashboard page is defined by the Cutoff days for room inspection statistics setting in System Parameters.
The room inspection totals for all resident room inspections for facilities available to the user is linked are displayed on the Dashboard page.

The Dashboard’s Occupancy Summary section can be used to view a facility’s occupancy information for a defined date. A user can view an occupancy summary for a variety of facility types, such as all housing facilities, a single building, or just a room.
Use the following procedure to view an occupancy summary from the Occupancy Summary section on the ResCenter Dashboard:
1. Click the Dashboard icon in the ResCenter navigation menu to view the Dashboard.
2. In the Occupancy Summary section, enter a facility name in the Location field to search for a facility. Click Lookup.
Alternatively, click Tree to open the Facility Tree. Click on a facility to select the facility to view. If necessary, expand the tree by clicking on the expand icon for the desired parent facility.
3. If necessary, enter or select a date using the calendar to change the display date for the facility’s occupancy information. By default, the occupancy information will be displayed using the current date and time will be displayed.
4. In the Occupancy for [facility name] pie chart, the ratio of spaces with occupants (Occupants) and without occupants (Unoccupied) is displayed with percentages.
5. If necessary, click Go To Facility to view the facility’s details in the Facilities module.
A Conference Events calendar is available on the Dashboard page, providing a quick view of all events. The calendar lists past, current, and upcoming events. Click on any event listed to go to the Event View page for that event to view event details. Move the cursor over an event to display a pop-up of the event dates, times, and name. Click the previous and next icons at the top of the calendar to go backward or forward to look at events for a specific month. The calendar defaults to the current month.
The Conversations section displays a link to the Conversations function. If any new Conversations messages are unread, the number of unread messages will also be displayed on the Dashboard. If all messages have been read, a 0 (zero) is displayed.
